04/8/2018 15:01Started last week and I wasn’t impressed, too Americanised - think itv have missed a trick bringing back the old school style WoS, although I’m not a pro fan - I, quite simply, was bored and found other ways of entertainment.

Not so much the pro effect, I'm a pro guy through and through and I cant stand the show. Its as you have all said. Too Americanised and not like it was 'back in the day'
The matches we put on ourselves at the likes of Pippas and Grove Park would be worthy of a more acceptable viewing.

The show lived up to my expectations, which were decidedly low. I expected a somewhat sub-par WWE show and that is what I got. That said, it is nice to see British professional wrestling on television, and I live in hope that it may develop into something that has more of its own British wrestling personality.

04/8/2018 17:01Didn't like it last week, too flashy and American styled

04/8/2018 17:33Despite throwing a couple of big names to try and make it credible, it’s still aBritudh attempt at WWE, but that’s what tv bosses think we want to watch.... only good part was Grado “losing” his belt, but you know he’ll get it back at some point!
Not going to miss the fact I can’t watch it today!!

07/8/2018 13:13Much the same view as above comments. While i suspect that the promoter s feel that todays audience wants more glitz than grunts we will never compete with the big US promotions in that area and it reminded me of one of those 'little league' independent federations you occasional see referred to in US wrestling material with names like tri lakes Wrestling, Mountain State wrestling that spring up in the American heartlands .
Definitely lacked the rougher edge of W-0_S days and Govt Warning ' too many steroids and fake tans have been used in the presentation of this production'
However fair play to them for trying but the last thing we need as a country is more third rate American anything , I mean they have stolen enough icononic British things like Virgin Atlantic , Cadburys chocolate, Arsenal (almost) and now W-o-S

07/8/2018 22:57It was good to see British Wrestling on ITV, though as others have said it is too americanised. It was nothing like the World of Sport Wrestling.... Be nice if it can be developed to a more British style.

08/8/2018 15:31Must pro wrestlers of today do the American style even the various companies across the uk do American style. I think firstly we should be happy tos see wrestling back on a major channel with British talent today and encourage to do more and bring British style back
