I had two matches shortly before I left on vacation a few weeks ago. One was pro style, which I am a complete novice at and the other was a more traditional freestyle match. I enjoyed them both and was glad to have an experienced pro style wrestler guide me through the basics there. I won the freestyle match! :)

As much as I have enjoyed competitive matches in the past I've reached the age where it's more important to assure that nobody gets seriously injured than to go all out for a victory. For that reason I'll limit my intensity level to about 70% regardless of the outcome.

If you don't live near me get in touch anyway if you like and we can still talk about our shared interests. I especially like to learn about the other person's interest. I'd rather talk about real experiences and shared interests than role-play through cyber matches.

It looks like I'm going to get a real match this weekend. I'm so looking forward to it. It's been much too long since my last one.
