I use Blocking to avoid bothering people who have expressed their lack of interest in me. It's not personal, it's just a way to remind myself that someone who I thought would be a good fight isn't expressing the same interest. Avoids frustration.
A guy showed interest and asked for pics. I had talked to him before and reminded him my pics are in the previous message. Got blocked for that. š š¤š
Punch And Pinned is spot on when he says that there are a lot of whiny, easily butt-hurt, self-entitled people on here...mostly many of the younger GenZ/Millennials, including some Gen Xs, and a few Boomers. I saw one young white guy's profile who was suffering from major white guilt and was a major supporter of BLM. On his profile, it mentions that he doesn't want contacts from white people who have "white privilege" and don't support BLM. So, I couldn't resist, and I sent the guy a message and asked him why he was so ashamed of being white, and if he had any mental problems that he was suffering from. Guess what? He blocked me. I was shocked! (Not really) LOL! Sometimes I just send guys a note to compliment them on their physique and how good some of their flex shot photos look. Some reply back with a "thanks," and some don't even reply at all, and I could tell they read my message. One guy replied, "Did you not read my profile? It says that I only wanted to be contacted by younger muscular guys!" Yeah, you have a lot of guys on here who seem to think they walk on water or their cars have no exhaust fumes what-so-ever. LOL
That's it I'm blocking everyone š
Just kidding bros it's never fun to get dissed but then again you probably don't want to associate with a rude person like that anyway.
I mean, not saying you did, but depending on the delivery of the conversation and what's said. I can see being blocked possible, but It sounds like you were just being courteous and the other person didn't even consider that.
Iāve been a member for over 10 years here in MeetFighters. Iāve talked with many many guys. Iāve always answered/replied when I receive messages. I messaged a guy here, who has also been a member for years, for the first time. What did I getā¦ āblockedā. Not even a āIām not interested ā reply. Just āblockedā! Very degradingā¦ I do appreciate each and everyone of you on here. Rant overā¦..
I wouldn't worry about it. There's a lot of people here and some of them come and go. Everyone has their own preferences or their own situation. Some people will talk to anyone and some are particular.
Honestly I'd rather be blocked than the usual "look at the profile and say nothing" game many play. I don't worry about it, or call names, I just move on if someone isn't interested as I'm not interested in meeting everyone who messages me. I always reply though, unless someone clearly didn't read my profile.
Oh I totally understand why he did it. But come onā¦ itās a virtual conversation. At least reply with some type of communication. To meā¦ itās just a respect thing.
A respect thing, yes, but that's not universal. I'll send a message when I first have interest, check back again in a few months, if they still are just lurking I block. Saves me from wasting time.
Keep in mind:
There are more than 8,000,000,000 people. So more than 8x10^9 different opinions and points of view!!!! What do you expect from people who do not have a minimum of politeness / manners. Ignore those people too!
Well, today we have a ever growing society of whiny "Butt Hurt" snowflakes that lean on their therapy dogs and live life as oppressed victims,, your blocked???,, probably the best thing ,, who needs jerks like that,,

That's why I make notes, rather than blocking. People occasionally do change their mind.

I haven't heard this viewpoint. This is very interesting and makes a lot of sense.
