Daryl Weber's technique and training vids are great, been watching them for pointers over the last few weeks and I'm considering actually purchasing some of his full-length instructionals. Anyone familiar? Any thoughts/advice there?
This is a technique I need to try. With my last opponent, I was repeatedly able to get the single leg, but from the outside, and had trouble turning him over to complete the takedown. Hopefully shooting inside to destabilize can help next time.
What are others' favored takedown techniques. And, since matches from this site frequently have size differentials, can anyone recommend something that works especially well for getting larger opponents off their feet and under control?
With taller wrestlers, I find lateral drops are great. It is throw that capitalizes on the forward push by the other wrestler. When he pushes into you, you use his momentum and lack of balance to throw him to his back. I have pinned a lot of guys that way.
